Text-Driven Preaching: A Worthy Read

I am fully convinced that the best means for communication of the Word of God is the text-driven preaching. A text-driven sermon is a sermon that explains, illustrates, and applies the text of scripture in a way that stays true to the substance, structure, and spirit of the text.(1)
Dr. David Allen has written an article explaining briefly why a high view of the inspiration, inerrancy, and the sufficency of scripture necessitates that one will be a text driven preacher. Take a look at this article from Theological Matters. I invite your input.
