Dr. Richard Ross touches on a deep need in most of our churches in his article on Christian Discipleship. Too much of the burden for teaching children and youth “Christian things” falls upon a church that only has those youth and children for a maximum of 5 hours a week. According to scripture, family discipleship begins at home (see Deut. 6:4-9).
In this article Dr. Ross asks churches to consider the potential of making a small change to the way we do church which would pay off in a big way. Its definitely something to chew on!. Enjoy, and let me know what you think.
